Two tasks that belong together: pinpointing ovulation — and storing, shipping and documenting semen so that it is still usable and unambiguously traceable decades later.
Progesterone levels across the season, measured at a partner practice and evaluated by one method that everyone applies the same way.
Thaw check, storage, shipping and insemination – every movement traceable down to the individual straw.
Practices working to the HSB|Blendivet method – all seven days a week, by appointment. Semen storage itself is centralised; where both are offered, it is marked as such.
The map isn’t loading right now – the map service is responding too slowly. The list of locations still works.
Your location is used in your browser only and is never sent to us.
Ovulation can be read from the progesterone curve — but only if measurements are taken regularly and by the same method.
At the start of the season, at a partner practice of your choice.
The result is available the same day — not after shipping to a laboratory.
Until ovulation is reliably determined. It shows two days in advance.
The date follows the ovulation, not the calendar – with frozen semen it is the third day after. The insemination takes place at the practice.
Reference values when measured by the HSB|Blendivet method. Other analysers give different absolute values — which is why the method is recorded with every case.
| Ovulation | 4–10 ng/ml |
| Insemination, third day after | 18–35 ng/ml |
An insemination dose can sit in liquid nitrogen for twenty years before it is needed. Until then it must remain beyond doubt which stud dog it came from, who owns it and what condition it is in.
Assessment, extension, filling into straws or vials, freezing – with quality measurements that belong to the batch.
Shortly after freezing, one straw of the batch is thawed and assessed. The result sets the quality grade – and how many straws make up one insemination dose.
Every straw has its place in the tank, every movement a booking. The owner can see their inventory at any time.
Worldwide, with health certificate, customs documents and dangerous-goods declaration for the dry shipper.
Not just “semen from stud dog X”. Only these details make an insemination dose still usable twenty years later:
| Origin | Stud, studbook, microchip, collection date |
| Quality | Concentration, motility, post-thaw result |
| Ownership | who owns it, regardless of where it is stored |
| Path | every booking since collection |
The same software HSB-Blendivet uses itself — multi-tenant, so several businesses can work in it without seeing each other's data.
Progesterone readings with their method, the curve, timing and narrowing down the whelping date.
Storage down to the individual straw, bookings, thaw checks, import and export.
A case from enquiry to litter — with shipping papers, customs and follow-up.
Your breeders maintain their own details and dogs and see their inventory. Which practice sees which dog is decided by the owner – dog by dog.
Invoices as e-invoices, delivery proof included — storage fees by tier.
Interface and customer mail in the recipient's language, not the business's.
